How does Pay Low work?

After you construct a profile listing the coverage you are looking for, our licensed insurance agents will help you compare plans so together you can find the best plan that covers everything you need in a matter of minutes.

How long does the process take?

Once your profile is created one of our licensed agents will reach out to you to discuss the quote and insurance plan you requested in a matter of minutes.

When will I receive my quotes?

Our insurance agents will share quotes with you immediately based on your profile submitted to the company. If you are filing for additional requests or coverages it may take a few minutes for an agent to put the quote together and reach out to you.


Privacy & Data

How will my information be used?

The information you provide for your insurance profile will only be shared with our licensed insurance agents so they can help you find the coverage plan you are searching for. Your information will not be sold or shared with any third party in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Do you run a credit check?

Some carriers use credit-based insurance scores where permitted by law. If a soft or hard inquiry is required, we will tell you before proceeding.

Is my driver’s license and VIN safe?

Yes. We transmit sensitive data only through secure, encrypted systems and store it in accordance with carrier and state requirements.

In most cases, yes. Once we confirm your information and bind the policy, we email your ID cards right away.

What documents do I need for a quote?

  • Driver’s license (for all drivers)

  • Current policy (if any) and desired coverages

Do you charge brokerage fees?

We are transparent about all fees and taxes before you buy. If a carrier or state fee applies, we’ll show it on your quote.

Where is Pay Low located?

We have several locations across San Diego, California and offer insurance throughout California via email and via phone. Your insurance policy will be sent electronically and complete physical paperwork will be in your mailbox soon following.

Do you serve all of California?

Yes. We quote and bind policies statewide by phone, email, and online.

Practical Situations

I just bought a car — can you insure me today?

Usually yes. Send us your driver’s license and purchase details. We’ll bind coverage and email ID cards for the dealer/DMV.

Do you help with DMV forms?

We can guide you on required insurance documents for registration, title transfers, and release of liability. Some locations also assist with select DMV services — call ahead.

Does my policy cover me in Mexico?

Standard CA auto policies typically do not cover driving in Mexico. Ask us for endorsed or separate Mexico coverage before your trip.

I need proof for rideshare or delivery apps.

We work with carriers that offer rideshare endorsements. Tell us your platform and we’ll quote the right form of coverage.
