Ride Hard, Ride Protected
From quads to side-by-sides, keep your ride covered anywhere you roam.

Whether you’re tearing up trails in Ocotillo Wells or working on your property, your ATV or off-road vehicle is built for adventure. At Pay Low Insurance, we help riders in El Cajon find affordable coverage so you can enjoy the ride without worrying about what might go wrong.
We work with over 25 insurance carriers to find you the best rates. Our clients save an average of 37% compared to shopping with just one company. That’s more money for gas, gear, and upgrades.

What’s Covered?
Physical Damage
Covers your ATV if it gets wrecked, stolen, vandalized, catches fire, or whatever else happens.
If you’ve got a newer machine or still making payments, you need this. Even if it’s paid off, these things aren’t cheap to replace.
Liability Coverage
If you hurt someone or damage their property while riding, this covers you.
Even on private property or out in the desert, accidents happen. Someone gets hurt on your land or you accidentally damage someone’s fence – liability coverage protects you.
Medical Payments
Pays medical bills for you and your passengers after an accident, no matter who’s at fault.
Off-road accidents can be serious. This helps cover the hospital bills.
Uninsured Rider Coverage
If someone without insurance hits you and it’s their fault, this covers your injuries and damage.
Lots of people ride without coverage. Don’t let their mistake cost you.
Collision Coverage
Specifically covers damage from crashes and rollovers, whether it’s your fault or not.
Trees, rocks, other riders – collision coverage has you covered.
Comprehensive Coverage
Everything else – theft, fire, vandalism, weather damage, hitting an animal.
These things sit outside a lot or in garages. Theft happens more than you’d think.
Accessory Coverage
All your add-ons – custom wheels, lift kits, winches, lights, stereos, roof racks.
If you’ve upgraded your ride, make sure those accessories are covered too.
Trailer Coverage
Got a trailer to haul your toys? We can add that to your policy.
Common Questions
How much does ATV insurance cost?
Depends on what you’ve got and how you use it. Basic coverage might be $100-300/year. Full coverage on a new side-by-side could be $500-1200/year. Your age, experience, and claims history matter too. Call us for a real quote.
Do I legally need ATV insurance in California?
Not required by law for off-road use, but if you’re riding on public roads (even just crossing the street), you need liability coverage. Plus if you’re financing it, your lender requires insurance.
Does my auto insurance cover my ATV?
Nope. You need separate ATV insurance. Your car insurance won’t cover it.
What if I only ride a few times a year?
You still need coverage because stuff can happen even when it’s just sitting in your garage – theft, fire, someone vandalizes it. Plus liability covers you when friends or family ride it.
Am I covered if I ride on someone else’s property?
Usually yes, but check your policy. Most policies cover you on private property, BLM land, and designated off-road areas.
What about racing or competitions?
Standard policies usually don’t cover racing. If you compete, let us know and we’ll find you a policy that does.
Does it cover my gear?
Some policies include coverage for your helmet, goggles, and riding gear. Ask us about adding that if it’s not included.
Where Are You Covered?
Most policies cover you:
- On your own property
- On other people’s private property (with permission)
- On public trails and off-road areas
- BLM land
- Designated riding areas like Ocotillo Wells, Glamis, etc.
- While being transported (on your trailer)
Street use depends on your policy and whether your ATV is street legal.
